I just joined Goodreads. It was so amazing to have almost every book I own catalogued in under and hour thanks to the Goodreads iPhone app. Now I just have to keep up my reading so that I have even more to say about books! This leads to this week’s Booking Through Thursday:
Since my dog is turning 10 today … what animal-related books have you read? Which do you love? Do you have a favorite literary dog? (Snoopy, anyone?)
I remember that I used to love the Berenstain Bears when I was little. One of the books was about Sister Bear taking a ballet class and giving a recital. It was how I learned to pronounce the word “ballet”. It was French; I struggled.
I also remember going through a horse book phase with The Saddle Club. Most little girls have an actual horse phase, but mine was just books, which makes sense for me.
