What’s the first book that you ever read more than once? (I’m assuming there’s at least one.)
What book have you read the most times? And–how many?
I honestly have no idea. I have read several books more than once. Harry Potter comes to mind immediately, of course. I think I’ve read SS, CoS, and PoA about three times each. According to my book list, I managed to reread the whole series before each book came out.
I am also sure I read The Catcher in the Rye three times: once in middle school (too soon), once in high school (already hated it by then), and the last time in college (so much dislike). It remains one of the worst books I’ve ever (re)read. Holden Caulfield is a foulmouthed whiny brat who is not redeemed by missing his dead brother. Not redeemed, I tell you!
I may not quite read like I used to, but I know a useless character when I see one.
